At Gold Coast Scoopers our mission is to be the premier pooper scooper service in Ventura County. We intend to achieve this by providing exceptional, reliable, and professional service with a personal touch. As a veteran-owned business we apply the discipline, integrity, and attention to detail learned through military service to every aspect of our work. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer care while ensuring that your yard stays fresh and waste-free. Above all, we share your love for dogs and take pride in providing a service that benefits both pets and their owners. Our goal is to build lasting relationships with our community, one clean yard at a time.
OUR OWNER
My name is Andy “RAM” Ramirez. I’m the proud owner of Gold Coast Scoopers and I’m honored to serve the Ventura County community!
Honorably serving 26 years in the United States Navy, our last tour of duty brought us here to Ventura County. We quickly came to realize what a hidden gem Camarillo and the local community was. We enjoy the small town feel within a growing city, and the tight-knit community that supported us as an active duty Military family. After completing our Military service we knew that Ventura County was where we wanted to plant our roots and start the next chapter of our lives.
I’m determined to bring the valuable lessons and qualities that the Military has instilled into me and use them to ensure I serve my customers with integrity and respect, while providing an experience of superior customer service that exceeds their expectations.

OUR LOGO
Our mascot’s name is Cooper. He is known for riding waves on the Ventura County Gold Coast while proudly standing on his long surfboard. Ok, Cooper isn’t real but how cool would it be if we had a real surfing dog as a mascot, right?
What is real is what our logo represents. We could have gone in many directions when we created our logo. There are plenty of puns and cute gimmicks that we could have used as a “pooper scooper” service. However, our goal isn’t to be cute. Our goal is to be a professional pet waste removal service provider that our family can be proud of, that the local community can respect, and to become a business and brand that can be recognized and acknowledged as a valuable service to all those that are in need.
We took inspiration from the United States Navy by implementing the Navy Blue and Gold colors into our logo. We support all those that serve our country and we especially wanted to pay tribute to the Military Branch of service that took care of our family for over 20 years. Hooyah Navy! Navy Chief, Navy Pride!
Cooper wears his collar with dignity as he knows his star has multiple meanings. The first is a tribute to the star that belongs to the rank insignia of the Senior Chief Petty Officer. The highest rank that our owner wore during his 26 years of active duty service. The same star represents the excellent, all-star service we will strive to provide not only to our customers, but to our community.
Cooper rides the blue wave against a giant gold sun. Our family is native to California and we wanted to pay homage to the gorgeous California and Ventura County coastline.
We landed on the name “Gold Coast Scoopers” after deciding we wanted our business to proudly represent the same local community that we our raising our family in. In our eyes the “Gold Coast” is Ventura County.

Why Pooper Scooping?
We understand that being a pooper scooper may not be a glamorous job to most (anyone…?). However, anyone here at Gold Coast Scoopers will tell you that we take great pride in what we do.
We are not here to judge! Our service is about providing our customers more free time to do the things they love, rather than worrying about cleaning up after their pets.
Additionally, not everyone is physically able to do what we do. We use our services to help those who physically can’t perform pet waste clean up on their own.
Everyone’s story is different and you don’t ever need to give us a reason as to why you need our help! When you are ready we’ll be here to assist!

As a local family, we have been a part of the Ventura County community since 2018. Starting our business in 2025, we plan on growing Gold Coast Scoopers into the Premier Pet Waste Pickup Service in Ventura County, one satisfied customer at a time.
As we grow our business we will always remember our roots planted in the local community and we look forward to giving back to the place that helped us become a success.
We are a memeber of the Association of Professional Animal Waste Specialists, or aPaws.
aPaws is a trade association of professional pooper scoopers. Their main concern is making sure pet waste is cleaned up from residential and commercial properties. aPaws upholds a strict standard of what is to be expected of our members in the care and treatment of all animals.
